• Pay rate for AFSCME Convention and Hotel costs
• Motion:
• Pay a per diem, per day for elected delegates who attended the convention as well as pay the reimbursement on hotel for Thursday and Friday as long as the delegate was not financed through other union sources.

• We will have level 2 clinics. Will have an update on October 11^th with information given before open enrollment (October 25^th through November 7^th).

• Motion made to spend up to $250 towards a quilt. The quilt will then be raffled off at $5 a ticket. This money will then be given to Jenell Carlson in light of her recent accident. She (Jenell) will be out for at least another month but is long from recovery.

§ Motion was made to spend up to $300. from the union funds to purchase pens from the union shop with the intention of showing solidarity. The pens will support the local and will be green and white.

§ Motion was made to purchase 200 frozen turkeys with the option to purchase more if needed for Thanksgiving.

§ Shotgun training:

o This will be taken to the Statewide DOC Labor Management meeting.

o At this time only utility, squad and midnight staff are allowed to take the training.

o Going to down to 5 staff in Complex 3 after dinner on 3^rd watch:

§ Management said this is stuff they are always looking at due to sick calls/FMLA.
